Colonial Maintenance
Contractors Inc. employs knowledgeable individuals in
all aspects of the company. The staff is available in the office from 9:30 am to
6:00 pm and the office is active from 9:30 am to 11:00 pm. Our motivated team
members are supervised and knowledgeable and include homemakers, students and
teachers.

TRAINING
All Cleaning Teams come to your building with this minimum completed
training.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT
A thirty minute orientation to the cleaning industry is
presented prior to applications being accepted. We at Colonial
Maintenance Contractors Inc. have found
that this alerts potential workers to the type of person and job performance we
require to properly service your needs.
TEAM MEMBER CLEANER
Must satisfactorily complete three (3) classroom hours at our
main office in Avon. This course of introduction to our industry consists of
video courses (approved by the Building Service Contractors Association
International).

Safety
Building Security
Work Habits
Cleaning Techniques

Policies
A practical "hands on" session of three (3)
additional hours is conducted in a large standard office environment. Here the
initiate practices the skills and techniques of working smart as well as hard.
When assigned to a team our new cleaner is a probationary
employee for one month while engaged in job training (OJT).
TEAM CHIEF
To become a Team Chief (Colonial
Maintenance Contractors Inc.'s
term for
first line working supervisors) an individual has served a varying period as
team member in another facility. Usually a similar type building. All Team
Chiefs receive an additional three (3) hours training in the classroom. The
emphasis here is on work loading, scheduling and inspections. The Team Chief is
in charge of our efforts in your facility.
